The best diet I can think of is the tried and true. nothing fancy. Just read a little about different foods, and use that knowledge to your advantage. And throw in a little exercise. Do what works for you. For instance not everyone sleeps at the same time so saying "don't eat after such and such time is selective. the worst thing you can do actually is starve yourself. Just eat sensibly. If your hungry and your getting ready for bead, the perfect food would be Casein and protein, The 2 things that fill you up and take the longest to digest, and relativity low in fat. Either a shake of better yet a cup or so of Cottage cheese.
